Caroline Garcia leads the field in one of the two tournaments beyond Bucharest scheduled on clay in the week after Wimbledon. The French player will play her first match against Elitsa Kostova, before a second round against Khromacheva or Martincova.

In the quarter-finals she could face the defending Champion Viktorija Golubic, who will face a qualifier in the first round. In the same spot of the draw there is also the former World No. 7 Patty Schnyder, who, back to compete in 2015 after a three-year absence from the competition, entered the draw thanks to a wild card.

In the semifinals Garcia would face Anett Kontaveit or Carina Witthoeft. In the bottom half of the draw Kiki Bertens faces Krunic in the first match. At second round the Dutch player, who this year triumphed for the second time in a row in Nurnberg on clay, would face Patricia Maria Tig, before an eventual quarter-final against Johanna Larsson.

In the semifinals, Barthel or Rodina. Both Samantha Stosur and Timea Bacsinszky have withdrawn respectively due to a wrist and thigh injury. Here below full main draw:
