Can Angelique Kerber dominate the clay swing? The WTA Tour's season is always uncertain. Anyone can win any tournament, either top players or outsiders. Former world no. 1, after the disaster of 2017, started this season on the right foot.
Since the beginning of 2018, the German has reached at least the quarter-finals in every tournament that she has played. She has returned to playing at the excellent level, finding confidence in her tennis again along with renewed mental strength.
For now, she has been consistent. On clay, she has generally played well, and in this clay swing – probably the most uncertain in recent years – she could be one of the protagonists, if not the real star. Her tennis is well suited to the conditions on the red dirt.
She can play the longest marathons. And her experience and the victories of the past can play a fundamental factor against Halep and others girls, who are equally good on the surface. But, what do you think? Can Kerber live up to the promises she has offered? You can answer this question in the following survey! ALSO READ: Vote for March's WTA Player of the Month (SURVEY INSIDE!) .
