Serena Williams hits tennis courts for charity

Serena Williams is still uncertain about whether trying to defend her Australian Open title next January from 15 to 28, but one thing is certain: she is back spending time on a tennis court. The former World No. 1, who became a mother on 1 September giving birth the little girl Alexis Olympia, hit the courts on Saturday afternoon for 'a great cause', her husband Alexis Ohanian wrote on Instagram sharing a photo.

'Great community. #AFamilyAffair for the Yetunde Price Resource Center. Thanks to everyone who came out to support the fundraiser', the co-Reddit founder added. Williams hasn't posted any pic or video of herself training via social media, but a few days ago her coach Patrick Mouratoglou said: 'Serena is getting ready for 2018', said the French coach in Nice, where he runs a tennis academy.

'She practicing and getting back in shape. I will be joining her soon in Florida. We will see how her body is reacting and how her tennis level is and we will take a decision regarding Australia.'
