World number 21 David Ferrer says he'll be featuring the ASB Classic in Auckland until he calls it a career. The 34-year-old has played at the tournament 11 times in his career -- is set to feature the event for the 12th time this season.

He made it all the way in Auckland four times in his career; 2007, 2011, 2012 and 2013. ''It's good for me to come back to one of my favourite tournaments - Ferrer said - I hope I'll play for a few more years, but I know that every year I'm playing, I'll start the year in Auckland.'' The Spaniard revealed he's in Auckland with his wife for the first since 2003.

and added: ''So I have very good memories and I like playing here a lot. I hope the people still enjoy my game and I hope I'll have a good result here.'' Ferrer noted he still ''enjoys playing tennis'' and he's ''trying'' to improve his ranking.

After a bye first-round, he'll be meeting Robin Haase in the second-round of the tournament. Also read: Feliciano Lopez hopes to finish year as top-20 player .
