On Sky Sport Italy Flavia Pennetta commented, alongside Elena Pero, the Wimbledon women's singles final won by the Spaniard Garbine Muguruza over Venus Williams by 7/5 6/0. Beyond having interesting opinions analyzing the match, there was space also for some questions to Pennetta on her eventual come back on the WTA Tour.

At the beginning of the tournament Flavia revealed that her husband Fabio Fognini suggested her to play tennis again. Smiling a little bit, Pennetta, who will turn 35 later this year, didn't close the door for this chance.

'I need to be honest, after all what's happening in the women's tennis I think about it and you almost say: 'Good mind I can play again. At the moment I watch them playing on court and I am okay with it', said the 2015 US Open champion, who played her last match as professional in October 2015 at the WTA Finals against Maria Sharapova.

She also analyzed the upcoming final between Roger Federer and Marin Cilic. Federer who defeated Tomas Berdych in the final, a match where 'in the key moments Roger showed to be a champion. He played at a very high level for the whole tournament.

I adore him as a player, person and I think he is the favourite. It would be great to see him with his eighth Trophy, also because he is here to win. It could be his best or worst week of his life, because he would lose a fundamental opportunity.' ALSO READ: Federer: 'For a second I doubted I might never come back at Wimbledon' .
