Tennis - Swedish tennis player Johanna Larsson has split with her long-time coach Mattias Arvidsson, with whom she had worked for more than seven years. Speaking to Swetennis.se, Larsson commented, "Mattias and I have achieved great success along with many titles and good ranking.
But the last places on the ranking, which I feel I have in me, are missing." Larsson will now work with Magnus Tideman and will work with him in Helsingborg during the pre-season. "Maggo is an experienced coach, especially good tactical, which I think I will benefit greatly in 2018.
I feel it's right for my tennis to break the pattern. Get new input from an experienced trainer. I'm glad he is Swedish. It becomes easier with logistics and understanding each other." Tideman has earlier worked with Thomas Johansson, Jeremy Chardy and Magnus Norman.
