US Open - Serena Williams does not lose a game in fourth round match

World no. 4 Serena Williams did not lose a game in her fourth round match against world no. 82 Andrea Hlavackova to advance to the quarter finals of the US Open. Serena dropped just five points in her first five service game as she stormed to a 6-0, 5-0 lead.

Hlavackova then secured a break point at Serena's serve on that time but Serena bounced back in the game to close out for a 6-0, 6-0 win. She next meets former world no. 1 Ana Ivanovic for a place in the semi finals. This was the 5th time that Serena has won a match 6-0, 6-0 in her career and the second time in a grand slam.

She was fighting really hard," Williams commented. "You give people any type of chance, especially in tennis where the match is never over until you shake hands, and there's always a comeback available for them.

I don't want to give her, or anyone, that opportunity. I honestly don't think I started strong in the tournament, and I feel like I'm getting more comfortable with the court and conditions. I always try to play better in my last matches at a Grand Slam." Serena leads Ivanovic 3-0 in their head to head.

Looking forward to that match Serena said, "Every time I play her in particular she plays really well. She goes for a lot of shots. She's a big hitter. And obviously having been No.1, having that Grand Slam under your belt, she knows what it's like to win."
