The last 6 months have not been the best ones for American Bethanie Mattek-Sands, who got severely injured during her Wimbledon Singles match against Romanian Sorana Cirstea.

She extend her knee and has been out of action since, trying to work on her recovery. And her zeal and enthusiasm is really working in her favour and she was recently spotted with doubles partner and close friend Lucie Safarova as the two were enjoying their off-season.

But the American has an off-court appeal as well and the doubles expert was recently the face of a magazine – Scottsdale Health.

She posted pictures of the cover on her Social Media handles, captioning the picture as  -"Hey Scottsdale! 🌵 Thrilled to be on the December Cover of @scottsdalehealth ‼Had a blast getting all dolled up with @zac_phoenix đź’„ and shooting in studio with the talented @jpatrickphoto”
