Jordan Spieth’s son, not even one, owns custom-made golf clubs!

After his victory at the 2021 Valero Texas Open, Jordan Spieth has not won a tournament. He is, however still thriving and loving his time as a new father. Spieth has already started collecting golf stuff for his son. “The guys at Vokey and my guys at Scotty Cameron have both made him a putter and a wedge,” Spieth said when discussing his nearly six-month-old son’s custom-made club collection at the pre-press meet before the WGC Dell Technologies Match Play.

“So as soon as he’s able to, I’m sure he’ll be swinging it around,” he added when a reporter asked whether his mindset had changed since the birth of his child. Being a father is a new experience for Jordan Spieth.

However, he is trying his best to learn how to divide time between his professional and personal life. He explained that he is trying his best to manage to be a good father and a good golfer at the same time. “Trying to figure out that balance is something that I feel pretty patient with,” admitted Spieth.

Not worried about his game “I feel like my game is in a better place than last year with not quite the consistent results,” Spieth said. In 2021 Spieth’s best finish was at the WM Phoenix Open (T4) since his T3 finish at the 2019 PGA Championship.

He then won the 2021 Valero Texas Open and then finished second at the Open Championship. He also reached second position at the 2022 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. I feel really good about my game has actually gotten better,” said Spieth.

He explained that although it is harder to manage his time since becoming a father, he is still focusing on his golf. “My drive to try and be the best golfer in the world has never been higher,” he added.
