Former professional golfer, Paige Spiranac enjoys sharing her views on many things on social media. The Masters Tournament is no different. The Masters Tournament at Augusta National follows a lot of traditions. Professional golfers and fans love the first major of the year, making it one of the most prestigious events of the season.
“Happy Masters week, everyone,” Spiranac said in a video posted on social media. “This is my favorite week of the year”. Spiranac then continued to talk about her Masters likes and dislikes. “Here’s the very short list of things that I hated about the Masters,” Spiranac said.
The very first thing was the event’s food menu. The social media star feels that the fans need to move on from talking about the menu over and over again as it is the same every year. “I think the women amateur golfer to play three rounds at the Augusta, not just one”.
The Augusta National Women’s Amateur tournament is a new addition to the club, established in 2018 to inspire and support young women in golf. After voicing her opinion about the ANWA tournament, Spiranac added the Pimento Cheese Sandwich to her ‘hate’ list.
“It smells and tastes like feet,” she added. Paige Spiranac’s favourite traditions of the Masters “I love the traditions,” Spiranac explained and named all the Masters traditions that she loves, from playing the tournament at the same course to presenting Green Jackets to the champions.
Spiranac also stated “I love when Jin Nantz says ‘hello, friends,'”. She mentioned that she loves the fact that people come together to show their love for the event. “I love everything about the Masters,” she finally added.
Recently the social media influencer also took Twitter to share her opinion about Tiger Woods’ comeback. On the 4th of April Spirinac tweeted: “Happy Masters week! Tiger looks to be playing and my Augusta towel drops tomorrow”.
Turns out her prediction was correct and Woods will be playing in the Masters. Woods announced his Masters decision on Tuesday morning. “As of right now I feel like I’m going to play,” he said during his Masters press conference.
Paige Spiranac tweeted basically what the entire golfing world was thinking: “TIGER FREAKING WOODS IS PLAYING THE 2022 MASTERS,” she said.
