Ian Poulter will be able to play Scottish Open

They turned to Sport Revolution UK, a non-profit legal body that provides interpretations on sports law, which proved them right and therefore will be able to play the Scottish Open. Ian Poulter, Adrian Otaegui and Justin Harding, among the 16 players suspended from the DP World Tour because they have participated in Arab Super League matches, will be regularly on the pitch in North Berwick from 7 to 10 July.

For Sport Revolution, the three golfers cannot in fact be suspended as they already have a regular "card" to play on the DP World Tour 2022. The legal battle between the new faces of LIV Golf and the main green organizations does not stop.

A challenge that is now also a judicial one.

Ian Poulter, story

Ian Poulter (born January 10, 1976 in Hitchin, England) is an English professional golfer on the European Tour and the North American PGA TOUR. He turned professional in 1994 but only qualified for the European Tour after his first win on the 1999 Challenge Tour and Tour School.

In his first season, Poulter won the Italian Open and received the Sir Henry Cotton Rookie of the Year Award in 2000. More wins followed in the coming seasons, including the prestigious Volvo Masters in 2004. In September 2006 he won the Open de Madrid.

In the European Tour Order of Merit, Poulter finished in the top 10 in 2003, 2004 and 2006. After narrowly missing out on qualifying for the 2001 Ryder Cup, he was a member of the winning European team in 2004. This earned Poulter eligibility to play on the PGA TOUR, and since 2005 he has split his starts between the two major tournament series.

Poulter celebrated his greatest success in February 2010 when he won the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship in Arizona. In the final he defeated his compatriot Paul Casey with 4 and 2. With 1.02 million euros he received the highest prize money of his career and temporarily improved to 5th place in the world rankings.
