Greg Norman: I pay zero attention to Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods

LIV Golf CEO Greg Norman spoke to Today's Golfer about many topics. But first, the most current one. Tiger Woods emphasized at the press conference before the Hero World Challenge that with the departure of Greg Norman, things can only get better.

Another player who often calls for a 'fight' against LIV Golf is Rory McIlroy. Greg Norman reacted. “I pay zero attention to McIlroy and Woods, right?,” Norman said for Today's Golfer. “They have their agenda for whatever reason.

They’re saying whatever they want to say. It has no bearing or effect on me. I’m going to be with LIV for a long, long period of time”.

Greg Norman: I’ve always taken the high road this year

LIV Golf and the PGA Tour have been in conflict for a long time.

Both sides do not want to give up, which only leads to an even worse situation. Greg Norman and the other leaders want supremacy on the golf scene, and it seems that they are not far from that with the money. Greg Norman believes that the PGA Tour executives are monopolists, and that this is the reason for their anger towards LIV Golf.

“When the monopolist’s territory is getting threatened, they’re going to rear their ugly head up and do what they do,” he said. “But from my whole perspective, I’ve always taken the high road this year.

I will continue to take the high road because I believe in our business model. I believe in our people, I believe in the players’ independent rights, and we’ve already seen a dramatic shift in our audience”.

Greg Norman does not want to give up and wants to fight until the very end. He has received a lot of criticism in the last few months, but that does not stop him in his fight.
