Bryson DeChambeau has every right to be satisfied after a successful performance at the PGA Championship. DeChambeau showed that LIV Golfers have quality and that a conflict between the PGA Tour and LIV Golf cannot bring good to either side.
This great golfer finished 6 shots back of his colleague from LIV Golf, Brooks Koepka who ended up winning PGA Championship. Bryson emphasized that this tournament is just a confirmation of what he and the others have been saying for a long time.
"It validates everything we’ve said from the beginning," -said DeChambeau, as quoted by golfmonthly.com "We’re competing at the highest level. And we have the ability to win Major championships." LIV Golf made real chaos when it arrived on the golf scene.
A fierce conflict between LIV Golf and the PGA Tour followed. LIV Golfers have lost the right to many things. This caused frustration among them. Such results will certainly serve them well as a confirmation they have the necessary quality.
"I really hope people can see the light now that we’re trying to provide golf with something new and fresh. At the end of the day, both sides are going to have to come together at some point. It’s for the good of the game."
Brooks Koepka's statement
His colleague, Brooks Koepka, has a slightly different view of the situation.
Personal success is the most important thing for him at the moment. LIV Golf doesn't seem to be a big deal to him. "I definitely think it helps LIV, but I'm more interested in my own self right now, to be honest with you. Yeah, it's a huge thing for LIV, but at the same time I'm out here competing as an individual at the PGA Championship. I'm just happy to take this home for the third time."
