Some golfers at the Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club in California will have their lessons canceled. Indeed, after his magnificent 15th place at Oak Hill this Sunday, Michael Block is already highly coveted. A few minutes after the awards ceremony where he received the trophy for best pro teacher, the 46-year-old man was offered an invitation to the Charles Schwab Challenge which begins this Thursday.

In the video shared by the PGA Tour (see above), the Oak Hill hero can be seen receiving a call from a certain Michael from Fort Worth where the PGA Tour event is being played. “Don't tell me what you're going to say because if you tell me I'm going to cry,” warned Block.

"I'll tell you what you're thinking," replied his interlocutor. We have one invitation left and we would love for you to be with us in Fort Worth this week. She can only go back to a better person than you".

On the images both very moving where the wife of the player is in tears and at the same time funny by the repartee of the author of an incredible hole in one, Michael Block of course accepts the invitation.

“I cannot thank you enough for this exemption. I'll move my plane tickets to Fort Worth to be with you. If you can say a word to my boss and explain to him that I won't be at work next week…”, he joked, all moved.

Michael Block will therefore be at the start of his 26th career event on the PGA Tour (5 cuts) where will also be the new world number 1 Scottie Scheffler, Viktor Hovland or even Jordan Spieth and Tony Finau. This is not the only tournament to want to host the one that has won the hearts of all golfers.

The Twitter account of the RBC Canadian Open, which will take place from June 8 to 11 in Toronto, has already extended the invitation to Michael Block. “Michael Block, we heard your hole-in-1 roar across Lake Ontario.

Please join us at the RBC Canadian Open June 6-11 at Oakdale Golf & Country Club in Toronto,” it read. Another tournament he is already sure to play is the PGA Championship 2024 since he is automatically qualified thanks to his 15th place.
