There has been a lot of criticism directed at Max Homa after his performance at the US Open. It was disappointing to see that Homa missed the cut at the U.S. Open, although many believed that it was a superb opportunity for Homa to achieve great success at this tournament.

For him, Friday was a day of disappointment. As a result of the poor performance, Homa expressed his sadness on social media. The performance of this great golfer is not what he expected. Despite the fact that he does his best at every moment and tries to be the best version, golf sometimes brings sad stories and outcomes that we would not like.

“Incredibly disappointing round,” -Homa wrote on Instagram. “That one hurt a lot. I try my hardest every day to be the best I can be, and days like this are really tough to handle."

Max Homa on the support and hate messages

Even though Homa received a lot of hate comments and criticism, he remained focused on answering the messages of support he received, and there was clearly a lot of them.

There is no doubt in Max's mind that things will get better for him in the future. Fans are well aware that Homa has a lot of quality and that they can expect a lot out of his performances. Because of this, it is very important for Homa to take time off, train, and the results will follow soon enough.

“I want to say how grateful I am for everyone who has sent an encouraging message. I see them and appreciate it. To those of you sending hate, I hope it fills whatever void you have in your heart. I know who I am, and I know what I can do,” Homa wrote on Instagram. “I’ll keep hammering away at that rock”.
