The DP World Tour has entered into an agreement with a newly created Tour. Obviously we are talking about a different agreement from the one involving the major professional Tours. The "newborn" tour is the Next Golf Tour, a professional indoor golf circuit created by Trackman, which has just concluded its first season.

994 players from 41 different countries took part in the first six eighteen-hole tournaments of the pilot edition.

The total prize pool distributed in 2023 amounts to $834,000. The 2024 edition, which will start next November, is destined to generate bigger numbers, thanks to the agreement with the DP World Tour.

First of all, the increase in the number of tournaments and the growth of the prize money are expected, already convincing arguments to attract more players. But the real novelty is represented by the prize destined for the one who wins the Order of Merit: three invitations for as many tournaments of the Challenge Tour and one for an event of the DP World Tour (the dress rehearsal was held this year, the winner of the first season, Rasmus Rosin, was invited to the BMW International Open, NDR).
