Sole leader of the tournament on Thursday evening, the Swede Kristoffer Broberg now shares the reins of the competition with 5 other players! The best Frenchman after 36 holes is the six-time Challenge Tour winner Benjamin Hébert.

The fight promises to be fierce this weekend in Almeria in Andalusia.

Challenge Tour, results

With 23 players separated by just 3 moves on Friday evening, whoever can predict the outcome of the tournament this Sunday is very clever.

Author of the best card of the day (63) the Portuguese Ricardo Gouveia made the best impression but in the family there will be two to apply for victory since his younger brother Tomas also occupies the lead at -7. In total 6 players reached the mark of 7 strokes under par after two rounds, but nothing is done far from there since their lead over a quartet in which are the experienced Benjamin Hébert and Brandon Stone (the South African triple winner on the DP World Tour), is only one shot.

The Frenchman, 69th in the Road to Mallorca, is obliged to string together good results in the home stretch: A series of 4 tournaments before the Grand Final open only to the top 45 overall. 4 tricolors out of the 8 players present in the South of Spain crossed the cut with among them the young amateur Martin Couvra.

The good operation of the day is to the credit of Sébastien Gros who got closer to the top 10 thanks to a second round completed with 3 birdies and a score of 66. Respectively 43rd and 45th overall, the Parisian Robin Roussel and the Réunionnais Julien Sale missed the cut and should provisionally fall out of the top 45 qualifier for the end of season meeting in Mallorca, decisive for accession to the DP World Tour.

The rules of golf are relatively complicated compared to other sports because they are applied outdoors, close to nature and animals. Respect for the rules is a basic element in the game of golf, which, almost always based on the self-control and free conscience of the players, often sees distorted results, consciously at times, but often unconsciously or through carelessness, due to non-compliance on the part of many players of the game rules.

In addition to rules, golf adheres to a code of conduct, known as etiquette, which generally means playing the round with due respect for the golf course and other players. Etiquette is an essential component of this sport.
