USA captain Zach Johnson is already in fear considering the 'demanding' Marco Simone course. Johnson emphasized that he would like to have 25 players on the roster, but he is aware that this is not possible. Both teams will have a very difficult task.
“At this point in this captainship the worst part of my job is sitting guys,” said Johnson, as quoted by golfmonthly.com! “I'd like to take 25 guys over there to play, we can't do that, and I'd like for all the guys to play every session, can't do that either, but that's the way it is and everybody knows that”.
Vice-captain Stewart Cink also emphasized his team will not have an easy task. Everyone will have to be maximally prepared for this challenge, considering that this requires great physical effort. “I think the golf course is going to solve some of that problem because it's so hilly and the temperature could be pretty hot, too.
I think guys are going to be happy to probably rest. There's not going to be a lot of disappointment for not playing. It's probably the most demanding physically of any Cup course I've ever seen that I've been a part of”.

Johnson reacted to the reporter's question whether this is the toughest course he has ever seen; “No question. In my time, for sure. It's a brutal walk. Then, compounding that with heat”.
The US team is maximally motivated before such an important challenge. Both teams have enormous quality. It will be interesting to see who will win in the end, but one is certain; We will watch a real spectacle with many experienced, but also younger faces. There are only 16 days left until the start. Expectations are huge, and fans are impatient like never before!
