The stage is set for the exciting Ryder Cup in Rome, featuring an impressive lineup of sports, cinema, and online stars from Novak Djokovic to Carlos Sainz. Amidst the unyielding sun of a prolonged summer, the All Star Match heats up the golf engines ahead of the main competition, pitting teams led by Scotsman Colin Montgomerie and American Corey Pavin against each other.

The teams met during the 2010 Ryder Cup, which saw the Molinari brothers clinch their debut victory in the tournament in Wales. Gareth Bale, Italian surfer Leonardo, and YouTuber Garrett Hilbert grace the field alongside tennis world number one Novak Djokovic, who defeated a team led by Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz fresh from a recent victory in Singapore's Formula 1.

DJokovic exhibited his golf prowess, with Italian showman Fiorello making a special appearance at the event. Despite feeling the pressure in the first hole, Djokovic paired up with an excellent partner to secure a seven to four victory for Team Monty.

The players reflected on their experience, with Djokovic expressing his admiration for Rory McIlroy and Sainz highlighting the incredible atmosphere and support of the spectators. The Marco Simone golf club proved to be a breathtaking location with one of the best courses Sainz had ever played on, making it an unforgettable experience for both players and fans alike.

"Jannick (Sinner, ed.) plays very well and is one of the most important players at the moment, he too with Alcaraz can mark the future of tennis." After winning the All Star Match ahead of the Ryder Cup in Rome, Novak Djokovic crowns himself the number one in Italian tennis.

"He - assures the Serbian champion - is also a very good person, he works a lot and I see that he, still very young, has a very positive road ahead. He has the mentality of a champion, he will be one of the most difficult players to beat in Turin (in the ATP Finals).

I had a good success last year in Turin and I have a great motivation to be there. There are a couple of months left and I hope to be able to play my best tennis again."
