Having archived the Roman Ryder Cup, the DP World Tour is preparing to experience another of the most iconic and anticipated events of the season. In fact, we go to Scotland for the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, which in the space of twenty years has become a top-level event, which often sees the highest quality protagonists at the start.

The most important feature of this event is one: you compete on three different courses, all extremely symbolic on Scottish soil. These are Carnoustie, Kingsbarns and the Old Course at St. Andrews, with the latter considered by many to be "the temple of golf".

The first three rounds will therefore see the rotation of players on the three courses, with the cut taking place after everyone has completed their round on each course.

Ryder Cup, statements

The opportunity is therefore one not to be missed and among the most awaited protagonists there will also be those who will be able to land in Scotland as a winner, after the success at the Ryder Cup.

We are talking about Matt Fitzpatrick, Tommy Fleetwood and above all the home favorite Robert MacIntyre , who will certainly be given a special welcome. The three names mentioned above will obviously also be among the candidates for success, but we must consider the many nervous and other energies that an event like the Ryder Cup requires from athletes.

Among the most popular are also Adrian Meronk, the main one excluded from the European team, but also Ryan Fox and Victor Perez, recent winners of this event. From an Italian perspective, there will be two participants, Renato Paratore and Guido Migliozzi.

The Old Course at St Andrews is one of the oldest golf courses in the world and probably the oldest in Scotland. The Old Course is a public course located in the village of St Andrews, in the county of Fife, 16 km southeast of the city of Dundee and 50 km northeast of the city of Edinburgh.

The course is run by an entity called "The St Andrews Links Trust" under the supervision of the Scottish Parliament. The clubhouse of the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews (R&A) is located next to the tee box on hole 1, and although it seems that the course belongs to the club, the truth is that there are several clubs that enjoy the privilege of playing on that field.
