Three titles on the PGA Tour and all won in the last 15 months. Another achievement for Tom Kim who won, for the second consecutive year, the Shriners Children's Open in Las Vegas, distinguishing himself at the age of 21 as the youngest player after Tiger Woods (in 1996-1997) to have achieved the hat trick of successes on the top American men's circuit at this age.

Back to back for the South Korean in Nevada where he won with a score of 264 (68 68 62 66, -20) overtaking the Canadian Adam Hadwin in the photo finish, 2nd with 265 (-19) ahead of his compatriot Taylor Pendrith, 3rd with 266 (-18) alongside the Swede Alex Noren and the Americans Eric Cole and James Tyree Poston.

"I am thrilled to have succeeded in this undertaking. Winning is difficult, repeating is even more complicated", Kim's satisfaction which also bothered another golf great such as Byron Nelson who, in January 1944, won the San Francisco Open and then repeated , in the same tournament, eleven months later.

Eldrick Tont Woods, better known as Tiger Woods (Cypress, December 30, 1975), is an American golfer. Considered by many to be the best golfer of all time, as well as the best of the modern era, in his twenty-year career he won 110 professional tournaments, including 15 majors, making him the most successful player in the history; he held the top position in the OWG world rankings for a total of 683 weeks, of which 281 were consecutive (from June 12, 2005 to October 30, 2010), and is the only golfer to have won all four majors of the modern era within a single year (between 2000 and 2001).

In 2014 he became the first athlete in the world to have exceeded one billion dollars in earnings between victories and sponsors. He was subsequently surpassed by Michael Jordan and his wealth is estimated at 1.8 billion dollars by 2023, making him the second highest paid athlete ever.

In 2019, US President Donald Trump awarded him the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian honor of the United States of America.
