The end of the Hainan Open marked the closure of the approach to the final event of the Challenge Tour 2023. In fact, the picture of the participants in the Grand Final in Mallorca which will take place from 2 to 5 November has been outlined, with Francesco Laporta who thanks to the third place achieved in China goes up to 15th place in the ranking, giving itself a privileged position in view of the last step.
Challenge, situation
The best 45 golfers of the season will participate in the final event of the Challenge Tour. The card for the DP World Tour will instead be offered to the best 20. The 5 successes achieved by the tricolor movement in 2023 make the mission on Iberian soil easy.
Matteo Manassero, Lorenzo Scalise and Andrea Pavan are practically certain to change circuits. The blue trio is well within the top ten of the season, while Laporta will have to defend a margin of over 100 points over 21st place, which will be the first not useful for moving up categories.

For them the opportunity to arrive at the Final Stage in Tarragona, a tournament that will offer cards for both the DP World Tour and the Challenge Tour 2024, a tasty opportunity especially for the not yet professionals Paltrinieri and Bovari.
