Phil Mickelson is very optimistic about the future of LIV Golf. Although many LIV Golfers were disappointed after OWGR did not award them with ranking points again, Mickelson has no doubts that LIV Golf will grow even more and do great things.

Phil announced the arrival of several new names from the PGA Tour. Although many feel that his statements have no foundation, it seems that Mickelson's views are really strong. When asked by the reporter if he expects new movements, Phil answered; "Do I think that? No, I know that's going to happen.

When players look at LIV, they want to be a part of it. Everybody here is happy and enjoying what they're doing and enjoying the team aspect of it. Enjoying each other and the camaraderie, and enjoying bringing golf globally and all that comes with playing this tour."- he said, as quoted by palmbeachpost.com

Phil Mickelson: The question is how many spots are available?

It seems that LIV Golf does not want to create chaos within the Tour, and they have limited the number of players who can join.

LIV Golf leaders are obviously ready to give a chance to some, but the question is who it could be. "So there's a lot of players that see that and want to be a part of it. The question is how many spots are available? There's a lot more players that want to come than have spots."- Mickelson continued Mickelson stated that even if Piot manages to earn his place back in LIV, there won't be an available spot for him to rejoin the team.

LIV Golf leaders have taken a serious stance and do not want to give everyone a chance. Mickelson emphasizes that there are many calls from individuals who want to be a part of this Tour. However, as already said, not everyone will have a place.

"The reality is I've been fielding calls, as we all have, from players that are free agents to PGA Tour players to DP World Tour players that want to come over and the spots probably going to be filled by the time the qualifying tournament is here," Mickelson said.
