Patrick Koenig, an avid golf enthusiast, professional blogger, and photographer, has achieved a remarkable feat that has left many delighted. In just 287 days, he played an astounding 450 18-hole golf courses, setting a new Guinness World Record.
This achievement surpasses the previous record of 449 courses played within 365 days, which was established 14 years ago. Koenig documented his journey under the name "RGV Tour 2.0" on Instagram, regularly updating his fans about his incredible golfing adventures.
On Instagram, he shared his joy at breaking this astonishing record:
"Today The RGV Tour set a new world record and a water balloon fight broke out on the 18th green. This scene will be one of the defining moments of my life in golf.
Thank you to everyone who supported my dream and was a part of this world record. We have accomplished what no golfer has ever done before. 450 golf courses in 287 days. Thank you from the bottom of my golf heart. Tomorrow… more golf."- he wrote!
