The DP World Tour, after the double event in Spain, moves to Doha where, from 26 to 29 October, the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters will be staged. The one that will be played at the Doha GC is a fundamental tournament because, at the end of the event, only the top 60 ranked (decreasing) of the Race to Dubai (the circuit's order of merit) will gain a pass to the Nedbank Golf Challenge (9-12 November in South Africa), the penultimate event of the season which will precede the DP World Tour Championship (16-19 November in the United Arab Emirates).

Therefore, not only a total of 3,750,000 dollars is up for grabs but also 4,250 points (of which 710 will go to the winner). And again: after the Qatar Masters, now in its 26th edition, the best 116 classified in the 'money list' will retain the card to play on the DP World Tour 2024.

DP World Tour, Edo Molinari and Migliozzi

While at the end of the DP World Tour Championship, the best 10 (unless otherwise exempt) of the Race to Dubai will obtain the pass for the PGA Tour 2024. Joints and opportunities, in Doha it will be a show challenge.

Two Italians on the field: Guido Migliozzi from Vicenza and Edoardo Molinari from Turin, both returning from their exit in Spain in the Andalucia Masters. Migliozzi himself came close to achieving this feat in 2021 in this tournament when he placed second, together with two other players, behind only the Frenchman Antoine Rozner.

Scotsman Ewen Ferguson will defend his title won in 2022. Among the most anticipated competitors are the Dane Rasmus Hojgaard, the German Yannik Paul, the Scot Robert MacIntyre (among the protagonists of the Euro-triumph at the Ryder Cup in Rome), the Swede Alexander Bjork, the English Matt Wallace and Aaron Rai, the Spaniards Rafa Cabrera Bello, Pablo Larrazabal, Adri Arnaus and Adrian Otaegui.

Qatar is a country on the Arabian Peninsula whose territory includes arid desert and a long coast of beaches and dunes on the Persian Gulf. The capital, Doha, is also located on the coast, known for its futuristic skyscrapers and avant-garde architecture inspired by the ancient Islamic tradition. Among these we must mention the limestone Museum of Islamic Art, built on the Corniche, the seafront promenade.
