Tiger Woods' return is much anticipated by fans. Since his withdrawal from The Masters in April, he hasn't competed until now. With his confirmation for the Hero World Challenge, the focus turns to his future plans and whether he intends to participate in more tournaments.
Taylor Zarzour from SiriusXM PGA Tour Radio highlighted Woods' recovery from injury and his apparent full fitness. Zarzour excited golf fans by sharing that Woods mentioned playing in five or six tournaments in 2024.
Taylor Zarzour's interesting statements
"On all accounts, and I've talked to a number of people down in South Florida that have been around Tiger lately, he's not limping as much as he was.
He's walking much better. And he's telling people - and he doesn't say much about forecasting for the future - but he's telling people that he thinks he can play five or six tournaments in 2024, that walking isn't going to be as much of a problem as it was over the last couple of years."- Zarzour said, as quoted by golfmonthly.com!
This great golfer is surely eager to play golf. Having such a long career with a huge number of successes is one of the reasons why Woods can't wait for his return. Among the fans of this sport, the question arises whether we can watch the same Woods that we had the opportunity to watch all these years.
It is to be hoped that the injury will not leave a huge mark. We miss Woods who made us enjoy watching golf and admiring his moves.
Hero World Challenge
The Hero World Challenge will be the first step for him and an opportunity to show right at the start that he is still a golfer that many have to fear. Injuries can take their toll, but Woods looks to be on the road to a full recovery.
