Adilson Da Silva, a 51-year-old Brazilian golfer from Santa Cruz, won the Vinpearl DIC Legends Vietnam, the penultimate tournament of the Legends Tour played on the Vinpearl Resort Nha Trang course (par 71) on the coast of southern Vietnam.

The golfer achieved his fourth success of the season, with 203 overall shots (66 69 68, -10), three shots ahead of the Australian Scott Hend, who ranked second with 206 (-7). In third place were the Argentine Ricardo Gonzalez and the other Australian Michael Campbell, with 207 (-6).

Da Silva demonstrated his professionalism, notching up his fifth title on the circuit and fourth of the season, having previously triumphed in the Swiss Seniors Open, the Riegler & Partner Legends and the WCM Legends Open de France.

His career took place on the Sunshine Tour circuit, where he achieved 12 victories, holding the record for the most consecutive cuts made, at 43. Additionally, he triumphed in another competition on the Asian Tour. Italian golfer Emanuele Canonica, with a final recovery, managed to finish in nineteenth place, with 217 total shots (74 73 70, +4).

The Englishman Andrew Marshall ranked fifth with 209 total hits (-4), while the Swede Joakim Haeggman placed sixth with 210 total hits (-3).

After his latest triumph, Da Silva is getting ever closer to the prestigious goal represented by first place in the MCB Road to Mauritius merit ranking, currently held by three-time seasonal winner Peter Baker.
