Only one event, this time, will characterize the week of the DP World Tour in the continuation of the nascent 2023-2024 season. This is the 2023 Alfred Dunhill Championship, similar only in name to the Scottish event, because in South Africa everything is different, obviously starting from the venue, which is the Leopard Creek Country Club in Malelane.

The hosts have often won here (Ernie Els in the lead), but among the many successes there is that of a twenty-two-year-old Justin Rose in 2002.

On this occasion, Italy deploys almost all of its calibers at its disposal: eight.

Guido Migliozzi returns to the scene, starting from number 226 in the world rankings, a position that still makes him number 1 in Italy. With him on stage is the trio who last week gave the Italian golf movement hope for a long time: Renato Paratore, Matteo Manassero and Francesco Laporta, second, fifth and tenth respectively at the South African Open Championship.

And, in addition, the presence of Andrea Pavan, 17th, should also be noted. Also on stage are the two who, after passing the cut, failed to make an impact, namely Filippo Celli and Lorenzo Scalise. A strong desire for redemption, however, for Edoardo Molinari.

The starting field sees the 2022 winner, Ockie Strydom, but also the Scot Ewen Ferguson, the Chinese Ashun Wu and the French Antoine Rozner among others. All the big names from South Africa are clearly on stage, guaranteeing high quality to the event.

The rules of golf are relatively complicated compared to other sports because they are applied outdoors, close to nature and animals. Respect for the rules is a basic element in the game of golf, which, almost always based on the self-control and free conscience of the players, often sees distorted results, consciously at times, but often unconsciously or through carelessness, due to non-compliance on the part of many players of the game rules.

In addition to rules, golf adheres to a code of conduct, known as etiquette, which generally means playing the round with due respect for the golf course and other players. Etiquette is an essential component of this sport.
