The Challenge Tour today revealed its calendar for the 2024 season which will begin in South Africa on February 1. This new season includes 29 tournaments in 18 countries and 3 different continents, with 20 places reserved for the best for the DP World Tour 2025.

Challenge Tour, schedule

Like the previous year, the prize pool for the Challenge Tour 2024, considered the second European division, totals 8 million euros. The season will open once again in South Africa (February 1-25) with four tournaments co-sanctioned with the Sunshine Tour - a powerful professional African circuit.

In March, two tournaments will follow one another in India (March 14-24) and in the United Arab Emirates in Abu Dhabi (April 18-28). The season will continue in Europe from May with the Challenge de España, marking the start of a series of 18 tournaments in 21 weeks, which will see the Road to Mallorca pass through 14 countries on the continent.

The Rosa Challenge Tour, coming from August 29 to September 1, will allow a first in Poland. At the end of June-beginning of July, the tricolor triptych will mark an important stage in the Challenge Tour calendar, notably during the Hauts de France Golf Open presented by Neuflize OBC (from June 28 to July 1) at the Saint-Omer golf course, then the Open de Bretagne in Pléneuf Val André (July 5 to 8), followed immediately by the Challenge Tour Grand Final at a date and venue to be confirmed.

France will have the honor of hosting the Challenge Tour for three weeks, with the Blot Open de France (June 20-23), the Vaudreuil Golf Challenge (June 27-30) and...

the Hopps Open de Provence , which will take place this time in Pont Royal (13) from July 4 to 7, while it is usually scheduled for September. The purses offered for these three tournaments are identical, amounting to 270,000 euros.

China is also returning to the calendar after the Covid crisis. Two very lucrative events are planned for October, namely the Hainan Open and the Hangzhou Open, with $500,000 each. For its part, the Grand Final of the Rolex Challenge Tour returns for the third consecutive year to the Alcanada Golf Club (October 31-November 3).

The 45 best Road players will compete in Mallorca (Balearic Islands) to obtain one of the 20 cards for the DP World Tour 2025, all accompanied by a minimum income of $150,000 for those who participate to 15 or more events.
