Justin Rose is hoping to join Team GB in the upcoming Olympics but faces strong competition. Playing at the Olympics is every player's dream, including Rose.

Despite winning gold in 2016, he needs to outperform other highly-ranked English players. His recent success on the PGA Tour is promising, but breaking into the top 15 or securing a fourth spot is essential.  Rose is aware that it will be a difficult task, but not an impossible one. He has made great successes many times in his career so far. The same is expected this time.

After an impressive performance in the season-opener, setting a course record with a final-round 61, Rose remains optimistic about the chance to participate in the Olympics. At the very start, he emphasized that the Olympics is something special for him.

Justin Rose: The Olympics has been something special for me

"The Olympics has been something special for me. I walked around for four or five years with that tagline and the fans identify a lot with me, so to have the opportunity to go back would be unbelievable," Rose said, quoted by golfmonthly.com

Although it is necessary to be in great shape to secure a place on the US team, Rose is optimistic and hopes that he will succeed in achieving his goal.

"It's going to be a tough team to make. We all know Team USA is a really difficult team to make, but the way I'm trying to look at it is I've got to try and play my way into the top 15 in the World Rankings."

Rose emphasizes that everything will depend on his performance and how great he can be in the coming period.

Rose understands that it may be challenging for Fitzpatrick, Hatton, and Fleetwood to keep their high rankings. He stresses the importance of personal effort to break into the top 15. While expressing confidence in his ability to compete for another victory on the familiar Paris golf course, Rose emphasizes the need for hard work to secure a spot on the team.
