Lydia Ko is a golfer who always dreamed of doing great things for herself. But now, the Olympics are coming up, so Ko will need to focus on representing her country. That doesn't mean she doesn't love her country; in fact, she's ready to give her best and do great things at the Olympics in Paris this year. Representing her country is a big deal for everyone, including her. Lydia Ko has a great experience with the Olympics and wants to be successful once again this time.

"The Olympics is very important for me, to be able to represent your country," she said, as quoted by golfmonthly.com

"The two weeks that I was there in Rio and Tokyo was like some of the best weeks of my life. I think second place and like third place, oh, it was a good week, but you don't talk about it. "

Ko thinks it's great to get a medal for coming second or third in the Olympics. She loves the fact that every Olympian, regardless of where they finish, has something to celebrate. Ko even jokes that she sees herself more as an "Olympian" than just an athlete.

Every sportsman dreams of one day being on the big stage and representing his country. It is a huge honor and privilege that only the best athletes of a country have.

She's really looking forward to the next Olympics in Paris and feels super excited about representing New Zealand. Ko sees it as a big honor and feels grateful for the chance to represent her country on any day.  New Zealanders have huge expectations from her, considering her qualities and what she has shown in the past. There is optimism that Ko would win a medal in Paris.

Her words show how much joy and pride she has in being part of the Olympics and getting to compete on a global stage.
