The LIV Golf Tour continues to grow, and after two years, the Super League has added a thirteenth team called Legion XIII, which is captained by Jon Rahm, one of the most anticipated players. Rahm asked for and got Tyrrell Hatton, the world No.

16 and his Ryder Cup partner, as part of his team, known as "Team Angry."

Rahm's request was granted without hesitation, and the Saudi court spent 63 million dollars to secure the services of the talented Englishman.

In addition to Rahm and Hatton, Legion XIII has also recruited two young talents, Caleb Surratt from the United States and Kieran Vincent from Zimbabwe. Rahm inspired the creation of this team based on adjectives that have often been associated with his performances, such as "determined" and "proud".

The team's mantra, "Together we play. Together we conquer.", was created by Rahm himself. The team symbol features a lion, inspired by the fact that Rahm is a fan of Athletic Bilbao, known as the "Lions". Jon Rahm commented on his new team saying: "We've come a long way in a short time, but we're extremely proud of the team and the brand we're building around it.

The more I thought about the spirit of the team, the more it became clear that I wanted a group of fighters. Tyrrell is a natural fighter, a champion and, of course, my teammate in the Ryder Cup. Caleb is one of the most promising stars of the new generation, and Kieran is known for his aggressive play, the fruit of his talent and hard work in LIV Promotion." Jon Rahm began his college career by attending Arizona State University, where he achieved notable success in collegiate golf.

He won 11 tournaments during his time at the university, placing second only to Phil Mickelson, who achieved 16 such titles. In 2015, Rahm participated as an amateur in the Phoenix Open, taking a notable fifth place. On April 1 of that year, Jon Rahm became number one in the World Amateur Golf Ranking, holding this position for 25 weeks, and subsequently regaining it for another 35 weeks.

This allowed him to qualify for the prestigious U.S. Open and the Open Championship the following year. In the first of these two tournaments, Rahm took a respectable twenty-third place, but also decided to turn professional, thus losing the right to participate in the Open Championship as an amateur.

His professional debut came at the Quicken Loans National, where he achieved a remarkable third place. Later, at the Canadian Open, Rahm took second place. At the end of the season, he obtained a card for the 2017 PGA Tour. Jon Rahm's first professional success came in the Farmers Insurance Open, thanks to an eagle on the last hole, allowing him to enter the major tournaments on the world stage.

In the Mexico Championship, an event of the World Golf Championships, he took third place, just two strokes behind winner Dustin Johnson. In the second event of this series, the Dell Technologies Match Play, Rahm reached the final, but was defeated by Dustin Johnson himself.

Subsequently, he won the Irish Open by a six-shot margin and the final tournament of the European Tour season, the DP World Tour Championship, Dubai. These successes also earned him the professional golf rookie of the year award.
