Roberta Liti is set to embark on her eighth challenge of the season on the LPGA Tour, following her successful qualification via the Epson Tour 2023 money list, where she secured eighth place. She will be competing at the Liberty National Golf Club in Jersey City, New Jersey, where the Mizuho Americas Open will take place from May 16th to May 19th.

The tournament boasts a high-quality field, featuring nine players from the top ten in the world rankings, with special attention on Nelly Korda, the current number one, and Rose Zhang. Zhang, rapidly ascending the ranks, defends her title after clinching victory at the Cognizant Founders Cup last week, propelling her to sixth place in the Rolex Ranking.

However, pre-tournament predictions favor Korda, despite her recent seventh-place finish at Cliffton, also in New Jersey, following a streak of five consecutive wins. The top ten players are not merely providing entertainment; they are also aiming for victory, each a formidable contender.

Among them are former world number one Jin Young Ko from South Korea, as well as French player Celine Boutier, Chinese player Ruoning Yin, English player Charley Hull, Australians Minjee Lee and Hannah Green, and Canadian Brooke M.

Henderson. Other notable contenders include Angel Yin, Megan Khang, Irish player Leona Maguire, Swedes Maja Stark and Linn Grant, German player Esther Henseleit, Japanese players Nasa Hataoka and Ayaka Furue, and Thai player Pajaree Anannarukarn, all capable of disrupting the plans of the favorites.

Roberta Liti's season has seen a mixed performance, with two missed cuts in three events followed by prize-winning finishes in the subsequent four. While her performance has been inconsistent, she has shown flashes of excellent play, such as her top-ten position after the first two rounds of the Cognizant Founders Cup. The total prize purse for the tournament is $3,000,000, with the winner set to receive $450,000.
