It's not easy to cope with everything that has happened. They said in a statement that it's hard for them to come to terms with the fact that Grayson is no longer with us, considering all this a nightmare.

"We have spent the last 24 hours trying to come to terms with the fact that our son is gone. It’s surreal that we not only have to admit it to ourselves, but that we also have to acknowledge it to the world. It’s a nightmare."- they wrote.

His parents have been a tremendous support for Grayson, from the early stages of his career; junior and amateur days, to his professional career. Grayson's parents emphasized that he was loved by the entire family, friends, and colleagues. His death has left a big mark on everyone. It will take some time to come to terms with the fact that Grayson is no longer with us.

"We have so many questions that have no answers. But one. Was Grayson loved? The answer is yes. By us, his brother Cameron, his sister Erica, all of his extended family, by his friends, by his fellow players and – it seems – by many of you who are reading this. Grayson Murray's career

Grayson Murray often spoke about his career and the challenges he faced. In one of his interviews a few months ago, he reflected on the early stages of his career, where he excelled as a young golfer, particularly during his junior years. Many predicted a great future for Murray at that time. Despite all the expectations, Murray failed to build the career he envisioned.

This had a significant impact on his mental health, leading him to struggle with depression and anxiety. He sought solace in alcohol, which only compounded his problems. Murray admitted that he often compared himself to his peers, some of whom had built better careers, and he struggled to accept that he hadn't achieved the same level of success. Many factors evidently left a mark on him.

In recent times, Murray has been saying that he feels much better than he used to. He felt ready for a new chapter in his career and for the beginning of something special. Murray also highlighted his parents as his main support, one of the reasons he didn't want to give up. He often emphasized how much he loves golf and how much this sport means to him in life.

Grayson admitted that golf provided financial stability for him to avoid everyday problems that individuals face. Furthermore, Murray stressed that golf is not the primary thing in his life, but family, highlighting his fiancée as a huge support. He confirmed that his family has given him a new perspective on life.

Murray had a major motorcycle accident in 2022 at the PGA Tour's Bermuda Championship. Grayson then confirmed that he was close to death and that if he hadn't worn a helmet, he would probably have died. In his words at that time, optimism and readiness to turn over a new leaf in life could be felt. Unfortunately, depression is a severe illness that can destroy an individual. Murray will never be forgotten by colleagues, fans, and his loved ones.

Important to mention: Anyone facing depression needs to understand that there is a way out, and it is important to seek help and openly talk to family and loved ones about their problems. Depression is an illness that many have overcome. The first step is to seek professional help and, with the help of experts, start the recovery process.
