On June 13th and 14th, the second edition of 'The Battle of Stars' will take place, a sporting competition that transcends titles thanks to its charitable purpose: fighting against ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) and multiple sclerosis.

The event will be held in Mallorca and will feature top personalities such as Rafa Nadal, Pep Guardiola, Marcos Alonso, Pepe Reina, Feliciano López, and Antonio Orozco, among others.

The tournament will be held at the Pula Golf Resort and the neighboring Son Servera Golf Club, where amateurs will have the opportunity to play alongside these global figures during two days filled with meaning and social purposes.

Moreover, the competition will be graced by the presence of Juan Carlos Unzué, former footballer and coach battling ALS, who has become a beacon for this cause. Joining the greens will also be singer David Otero, winner of the previous edition, bullfighter Pepín Liria, actress Veronica Mengod, Javier Clemente, Bernd Schuster, Albert Riera, Mateu Alemany, Mauro Tassotti, Gerard López, Gabriel Batistuta, Albert Riera, Roberto Donadoni, Esteban Vigo, Miguel Ángel Nadal, Uli Stielike, Manu Trigueros, and model Liz Emiliano.

'The Battle of Stars' is once again supported by Golf East Mallorca and sponsored by Mallorca, Fundación Mallorca Turismo, Cap Vermell Grand Hotel, Inmobiliaria Sa Coma, and Banco Santander. Pula Golf Resort is a grand venue that hosted the Mallorca Classic of the DP World Tour (European Tour) for seven years.

Designed by Txema Olazábal, a two-time Masters champion, the course underwent redesign between 2004 and 2006, making it one of the finest courses in Spain and Europe. The Rules of Golf are a set of standard rules and procedures by which the sport of golf should be played.

They are jointly written and administered by the Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews, the governing body of golf throughout the world, outside of the United States and Mexico, which are the responsibility of the United States Golf Association.

An expert commission made up of members of the R&A and USGA oversees and refines the rules every four years. The latest revision is effective January 1, 2016. Changes to the rules of golf generally fall into two main categories: those that improve understanding and those that in certain cases reduce penalties to ensure balance.

The rule book, entitled "Rules of Golf", is published on a regular basis and also includes rules governing amateur status. In Italy it is up to Federgolf to supervise the competitions by enforcing the rules issued by the R & A, checking that these rules are observed by the Clubs, Associations and their members and managing the resulting sporting justice, protecting their interests abroad.
