The US Open is scheduled from June 13th to 16th at the Pinehurst Resort & Country Club in North Carolina, USA.

Rahm, the former world number one, is facing his first year in 2024 since leaving the PGA Tour to join the controversial LIV Golf Saudi. In this year's two majors, Rahm failed to make the weekend cut at the PGA Championship and was unable to successfully defend his green jacket at the Masters in Augusta, which was ultimately won by American Scottie Scheffler, who also claimed that major in 2022.

Jonathan Rahm Rodríguez, better known as Jon Rahm, is a Spanish professional golfer born on November 10, 1994, in Barrika, Spain. Rahm rose to prominence in the world of golf with his exceptional talent and achievements.

Rahm played collegiate golf at Arizona State University, where he had a highly successful career, winning 11 college tournaments, which tied the school record set by Phil Mickelson. He also won the Ben Hogan Award twice, given to the top college golfer in the United States.

In 2016, Rahm turned professional and quickly made an impact on the PGA Tour. He won his first PGA Tour event, the Farmers Insurance Open, in January 2017, just months after turning pro. Rahm's aggressive style of play, powerful driving, and precise iron play have made him one of the top players in the world.

Throughout his career, Rahm has amassed multiple PGA Tour victories, including prestigious events like the Memorial Tournament and the BMW Championship. He has also represented Europe in the Ryder Cup, contributing to the team's success.

Rahm's accomplishments include reaching the number one spot in the Official World Golf Ranking, making him the first Spanish golfer to achieve this feat. He has consistently been among the top-ranked players in the world and is considered one of the leading contenders in major championships.

Off the course, Rahm is known for his passionate demeanor and dedication to his craft. He is married to Kelley Cahill, whom he met while attending Arizona State University. Overall, Jon Rahm's talent, determination, and competitive spirit have established him as one of the most exciting and successful golfers of his generation.
