Helen Briem, the 18-year-old German amateur from Nürtingen, near Stuttgart, won the third consecutive match on the LET Access, the second European women's circuit, winning with 202 (70 62 70, -14) shots in the Santander Golf Tour – Avila, the fourth event season on the calendar played at Naturavila Golf, (par 71) in Avila in Spain, where she narrowly preceded the Swedish Kajsa Arwefjall (203, -13).

Previously she had signed the Montauban Ladies Open in France and the Amundi Czech Ladies Challenge, in the Czech Republic, all in the space of three weeks, for a unique undertaking, because no amateur had ever achieved so much.

Four Italians won. The best was Marta Spiazzi, 28th with 213 (67 70 76, -3), who had a breakdown in the final after being in the top 5 in the first two rounds, a decline which however does not cancel out a good overall performance.

In 38th place Erika De Martini with 216 (par), in 42nd the amateur Carolina Caminoli with 217 (+1) and in 50th Caterina Tatti with 226 (+10). Helen Briem, who had her father Jochen as her caddy, took the lead in the second round with a 62 (-10, eleven birdies of which six in a row, and a bogey), the best partial of the tournament and a new course record , then in the third she went up and down a bit in the last nine holes, after scoring four birdies and a bogey on the first few.

However, she managed to maintain a precious margin over her rival with a double bogey, three birdies and two bogeys to close for the winning 70 (-2). In third position with 204 (-12) the Spanish Elena Hualde and the Danish amateur Cecilie Leth-Nissen, also a winner on the circuit against proette (Smorum Open, 2022), in fifth position with 205 (-11) the English Megan Dennis and in sixth with 208 (-8) the Dutch Nikki Hofstede.

Federica Torre, 52nd with 146 (+2), Sara Berselli, 83rd with 150 (+6), and Alessia Fornara, 114th with 162 (+18), left the cut, falling at 145 (+1). Helen Briem has won many victories, among which we remember the one in the 2022 Italian Women's Internationals where in 2023 she came second, surpassed by Francesca Fiorellini, who then, in the same year, was on the team with her in the two European selections that took place imposed in the Junior Solheim Cup and the Junior Ryder Cup.

Also in 2023 she won the Girls Amateur and this year she prevailed in the Portuguese Ladies Amateur. Three successes on the tour, but only three trophies. In fact, due to her status, the first coin once again went to the runner-up, on this occasion Arwefjall, who received a check for 7,200 euros out of a prize pool of 45,000 euros.
