According to the newest trend research by social media platform Pinterest, tea is the newest craze when it comes to sundowners. They have based this on their 444 million users worldwide, many of whom chose to enjoy tea after work with a friend, rather than an alcoholic beverage.

There are over 1000 varieties of tea, most commonly classified as white, green, oolong, and black. Black tea is the biggest seller – 47,8% of the market. Rooibos tea is second at 30,8%, followed by speciality teas (21,4%).
