Serena Williams' husband, Alexis Ohanian, is an avid card collector. From Marvel superheroes to his wife Serena Williams, Ohanian has a super collection of cards. He recently showed off a card from the 2017 Australian Open by Serena Williams with the caption: "This is one of my favorite @serenawilliams cards because @OlympiaOhanian is in the picture too!" However fans could not immediately figure out where Olympia was.
Indeed, the former 23 times Slam star shocked the world when she revealed, immediately after winning the Australian Open in 2017, that she was pregnant with Olympia. In that photo, Serena was pregnant, soo, Olympia, although invisible, was in the photo!
I feel like him being an avid card collector and having one of his wife (and daughter) is the cutest thing ever!ðð https://t.co/RdiNcST8qB — Opal Ellyse (@OpalEllyse) December 17, 2022
Serena's career
Throughout her career, Serena has been the undisputed star of the WTA Tour, but also the queen of investments, fashion and style.
Williams is very active in fashion. Former US star tnnis she has now has her own clothing line and dresses of hers. Also, earlier in an interview, she herself talked about her love for fashion. In an interview with Vogue while she was pregnant with Olympia, she said: "My feet are really in this.
For me, there was only one thing I connected to the way I've connected to tennis, and that's been fashion give me a garmen. I can tell you what the fabric is, how it's made, why something can or can't be done because of the draping, et cetera.
Who knows? Maybe I would have won more grand slams if I had been 100 percent tennis. Here she slips momentarily into a whisper: I should have 30 already!" This year, we can admired some amazing Serena's outfits, and not only on the courts, but especially during the events in which she took part.
Serena Williams left tennis last September, at the Us Open, in front of her home crowd. The US star has won 73 WTA singles titles. 23 of these are Grand Slam events, making her the second player ever to have won more Majors in this specialty behind only Margaret Smith Court, with 24.
She completed the virtual Grand Slam, which consists in winning four consecutive Slams not in the same calendar year, twice. She has also won five year-end Master Cups and 19 Premier category tournaments, as well as 21 Tier I and Tier II titles and a gold medal from the London Olympics in 2012 against Maria Sharapova.
Not only in singles Serena Williams can boast numerous victories, but also in women's doubles and mixed doubles, where there are 16 other Grand Slam tournaments: 14 won with her older sister Venus and two in mixed doubles, both obtained with Maks Mirny in 1998.
To these successes must be added three other gold medals at the Olympics, all won together with Venus, a Federation Cup and two Hopman Cups.
