Matteo Berrettini played an excellent tournament at Wimbledon 2023, losing in the round of 16 match in four sets against the Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz who then triumphed in the London final. The Italian tennis player is now relaxing in the company of his girlfriend Melissa Satta (click here to watch the photos).

On her Instagram, the model and TV presenter, posted a photo of the two of them, on board a boat, enjoying moments of tranquility by the sea, in Sardinia, Italy. The relationship between the 37-year-old Melissa and the 27-year-old tennis player number 32 in the world ranking was forcefully leaked in January 2023, inevitably influencing any type of assessment with respect to the evolution of Berrettini's career, subjected to such ferocious criticism, not only on social media, how in some cases ungenerous and unfair.

The excellent performance on grass at Wimbledon allowed the Italian to recover some positions in the standings and above all to relaunch himself in a season complicated by the muscle injury suffered in Montecarlo in April.

The encouraging performances and the victories obtained at the expense of Lorenzo Sonego in the Italian derby in the first round, Alex De Minaur and Alexander Zverev (two seeds on the draw) allowed him to measure himself against Alcaraz in a match from which he came out defeated but after an excellent performance.
