In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, a lot of workers have started working from home. Many people do not have the necessary desk or a separate study to use as a home office. Suddenly the kitchen table or iron board had to double as a desk.

Even though you can make the situation work, there are three golden rules you have to follow to ensure good health when working from home:

Whether you are sick or healthy, it is always important to maintain good hygiene. Keep your work place clean, including your monitor, keyboard, mouse, chair and stationary. You can clean it with regular cleaning products, but remember to unplug any electronics first.
Regularly wash your hands to prevent germs from spreading. Recent surveys have shown that most workers would prefer to work from home (at least some of the time) even after the pandemic. A safe and hygienic work space at home is crucial to optimize the benefits of working from home.
