Australia's Nick Kyrgios revealed he would like to play mixed doubles with Cori Gauff. Kyrgios' list of mixed doubles partners includes Serena and Venus Williams, Eugenie Bouchard and Amanda Anisimova. "I have had a lot of amazing mixed doubles partners and Coco Gauff would be the one I would love to play with.
I think the crowd would love that," Kyrgios said on the ATP Tennis Radio Podcast, as quoted on Sportskeeda. "She'll be dominating singles for a while, so she probably doesn't want to play mixed [doubles]. But I would love to."
Gauff, 17, revealed she met Kyrgios for the first time five years ago. "Nick Kyrgios probably doesn't know this, but I first hit with him when I was 12. At the Miami Open," Gauff said. "On court, he is a super funny, cool guy and off the court he is super kind."

On Tuesday, Kyrgios saw off Liam Broady 6-4 6-4 6-3 in the Australian Open first round. “Obviously hearing the news I was positive, I knew what that was going to lead to, the week of quarantine, and not having the ideal preparation, not getting the physio, not getting the treatment,” said Kyrgios.
“I’m pretty pleased with the way I responded. It was a pretty flawless, everything I could control, serving, attitude, all the non-negotiables, I did great”. Kyrgios now has a tough task ahead of him as he plays next world No.
2 Daniil Medvedev. “It’s going to be a hell of an experience for me. You know, he’s probably the best player in the world at the moment. So I’m pretty excited, I’m excited for that moment,” said Kyrgios of the recent US Open champion.
“That’s why I play the game. I feel like those matches still excite me, to go out there and play the best in the world”.
