Greek tennis star Stefanos Tsitsipas is enjoying some quality ahead of the opening Masters event of the season in Indian Wells. Tsitsipas is currently in California as on Tuesday he attended anNBA game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Mavericks.

Tsitsipas had a chance to watch some of the world's best basketball players in action as LeBron James was in action for the Lakers, while the Mavericks were led by Luka Doncic. Tsitsipas posted on his Instagram Story a short video from the game.

Tsitsipas enjoyed a good week in Acapulco

Last week, Tsitsipas won his first doubles title after he and Feliciano Lopez defeated Marcelo Arevalo and Jean-Julien Rojer in the Acapulco final.

“It will give me confidence to win this title here in Acapulco. We had a lot of fun with Feliciano playing in front of many Mexican fans this week. We plan to team up again in the future," Tsitsipas said after winning the Acapulco doubles title.

Lopez added: “It was at the Laver Cup that we spoke about playing some doubles together. We did well in Vienna losing to the Colombians and here we won our first title together. I just love playing in Mexico." Tsitsipas also enjoyed a deep run in the singles event as he made the semifinal before losing to Cameron Norrie.

Tsitsipas clinched three straight-set wins in Acapulco before he was handed a 6-4 6-4 loss by Norrie. "In general, [I hit] my forehand very loopy, my backhand very flat," Norrie said after beating Tsitsipas. "I was able to dictate play to his backhand and defend my forehand quite well.

I definitely felt that better in the second set, and I think my game is pretty good in these conditions." Tsitsipas, ranked at No. 5 in the world, is set to make his fourth appearance in Indian Wells. Tsitsipas' best result in Indian Wells came last year, when he made the quarterfinal.
