Zverev: Not easy to play when you are not at peace mentally

"It is difficult to play tennis when there are so many things happening around you. I hope everything clears up soon," Zverev told Marca. Also, Zverev admitted that being often criticized affects him.

The ATP is still investigating Olya Sharypova's claims that she was assaulted by Zverev. Also, Zverev received lots of criticism following his Acapulco outburst. "I miss him a lot. For me there are more important things in life than tennis.

Now he has to think about him and take care of herself. I hope he will be by my side again soon. I try to compete and do everything the best I can. I know there are a lot of people and media just waiting to criticize me. Many times I am hated for things that are not fair," Zverev said.

When asked about the French Open favorites, Zverev named Rafael Nadal as the top favorite. "Rafa, the first, for sure; Djokovic, if he finds his top form; Alcaraz is capable of achieving any result because of how good he is; Tsitsipas and hopefully myself if I pick up the pace," Zverev added.
