Patrick Mouratoglou: 100% sure that Stefanos Tsitsipas will find a way to win Slam

Coach Patrick Mouratoglou says he is 100 percent sure that Stefanos Tsitsipas will find a way to win a Grand Slam. Tsitsipas, 24, is a two-time Grand Slam finalist and he was also a Grand Slam semifinalist on four other occasions.

Most recently, Tsitsipas was beaten by Novak Djokovic in this year's Australian Open final. A year and a half ago, Tsitsipas lost to Djokovic in the 2021 French Open final. "It is the hardest time to win a Grand Slam but @DaniilMedwed has won one and @steftsitsipas made two finals and several semis of GS and I am 100% sure he will find a way," Mouratoglou wrote on Twitter.

Mouratoglou believes Tsitsipas can do it

After losing his second Grand Slam final - again to the same player - Tsitsipas insisted he wasn't frustrated by Djokovic's presence.

Also, Tsitsipas claimed competing against a player like Djokovic can only push him to do better. "Novak is a player that pushes you to your limits. I don't see this as a curse. I don't see this as something, like, annoying.

This is very good for the sport, to have competitors like him, to have champions like him. I find it a very important part of my career, to have a player like him that will help me grow better and do bigger things, speaking for my game.

I think we're blessed that we have three big champions like this. I don't want to give the whole title to him, because I believe there are other players that have contributed a lot, and they're the main reason I am here today as well.

Novak is one of them, too. I've been watching him as a kid, as well. I really liked the way he did things on the court with his game," Tsitsipas said. In late May and early June, Tsitsipas will try to become a Grand Slam champion at the French Open. It remains to be seen if Tsitsipas can deliver at Roland Garros in a few months time.
