Nick Kyrgios says he is not seeing a weakness in Carlos Alcaraz's game but suggests there might be one that will eventually be exposed. On Tuesday night, Alcaraz delivered a brutal performance in a 6-2 6-1 7-6 (5) win over Stefanos Tsitsipas.

Tsitsipas, a two-time Grand Slam finalist, was completely outclassed by Alcaraz as many thought that the Spaniard made the Greek look average. "What weakness do any of the fans watching @tennischannel see in @carlosalcaraz game?" Andy Murray's former coach Mark Petchey tweeted.

Kyrgios responded: "We were saying similar things about Medvedev once upon a time. Not saying a see one, I’m just saying, until someone exposes them, they look unplayable."

Alcaraz's level against world No 5 Tsitsipas was absolutely impressive as at one moment it looked like the Spaniard would win the match with a total of five games lost.

In the third set, Alcaraz had a 5-2 lead and two match points on Tsitsipas' serve. But Tsitsipas saved the match points and stunningly forced a tie-break before Alcaraz completed a three-set win. After the match, Eurosport tennis expert Tim Henman said "it was borderline embarrassing how average Alcaraz was making Tsitsipas look." "I think sometimes when you see these great players in the early rounds of Grand Slams, yes there can be a big gulf in the level, the quality, the ability of players.

But Tsitsipas is five in the world, he's won Masters 1000s, we're talking about him [potentially] being a Grand Slam champion. And for those first two and a half sets it was borderline embarrassing how average Alcaraz was making Tsitsipas look.

Tsitsipas was looking to try and implement his game plan, but he wasn't allowed - there was just no area of Alcaraz's game that he could attack," Henman told Eurosport.
