Nick Kyrgios responds to Jack Sock's US Open invitation

Jack Sock offered Nick Kyrgios a teaming up for the US Open doubles event and the Australian seemingly accepted the American's invite. Kyrgios and Sock, who are good friends, have played doubles together a few times over the last several years.

Kyrgios and Sock teamed up last time in 2022 August, when they won the Washington doubles title. "@NickKyrgios wanna run some doubles at the US Open?" Sock tweeted. Kyrgios responded: "Yeah. Let’s give them a show."

Kyrgios, Sock have two doubles titles as a pair

In 2018, Kyrgios and Sock lifted their first title as a doubles duo on the clay courts of Lyon.

Last year, they won their second doubles team title after beating Ivan Dodig and Austin Krajicek in the Washington final. Last summer, Kyrgios revealed why he loves playing doubles with Sock. “It’s happening [and] I am super excited.

I love playing with Jack because he is hands down the best player in the world, but at the same time I hate playing with him because there is so much pressure on me because he wins with absolutely anyone he plays with. But I got that monkey off my back in Lyon [in 2018], we got a title under the belt in Metz.

I can tell me grandkids I got a title with the best doubles player in the world," Kyrgios said of playing doubles with Sock last year. When Sock was asked about Kyrgios as a doubles partner, the American was full of praise for the Australian.

“I’ll take it, coming from the guy who just made the crazy run at Wimby, one of the most talented in the world as we know. Probably the most talented basketball player in the world. Nick and I gel so well together on the court.

On and off the court we have a blast, we have been friends for a long time off the court, starting with video games and here we are," Sock said of playing doubles with Kyrgios.
