Daniil Medvedev didn't last out at an umpire this time but still delivered a great moment as he wondered whether 'the Illuminati' was deciding when the roof closes.

On Monday, world No. 4 Medvedev was in action as he was taking on Sebastian Korda in the Madrid third round. At one point, slight rain started falling and Medvedev approached chair umpire Nacho Forcadell, inquiring why the roof at Arantxa Sanchez Stadium wasn't being used.

After realizing it wasn't Forcadell, Medvedev wanted to know who was in charge of making that decision: “You said it’s not your decision. Call me someone whose decision it is."

Forcadell responded by explaining to Medvedev: “They take the decision based on the weather."

Medvedev wasn't impressed and delivered a great reaction: “Who 'they?' The Illuminati?”

Medvedev managed to seal a comeback win over Korda

After a funny situation with umpire Forcadell, Medvedev went on to recover from a set down and beat Korda 5-7 7-6 (4) 6-3. Following his win, Medvedev acknowledged it was all but an easy day at the office.

"It was tough for many different reasons. He played well," Medvedev said after his win.

Explaining why it was tough for him against Korda, Medvedev said it was because Korda played well but also because he didn't have much space behind the baseline like in some other stadiums or courts.

But Medvedev was happy that after coming back from a set down to beat Matteo Arnaldi, he was also able to do so against Korda.

"I need to find my rhythm but both matches I played better and better. For sure the next one, if you play tougher and tougher opponents, I want to start like I played the third set. But if you win matches you are happy," Medvedev added.

For a place in the Madrid quarterfinal, Medvedev will play against Alexander Bublik.
