Less than two months after a serious ankle injury, Andy Murray will be able to return to the court thanks to a wild-card, on the eve of the Roland Garros. The former ATP No.1 has received a wild card to participate in the ATP 250 tournament in Geneva, a tournament which will be played from 18 to 25 May. The Scot has therefore fully recovered from the serious injury, even before the initial schedule. The Scottish tennis player will then be able to return to the court, to the delight of his many fans.

Murray, according to rumors, is convinced he can play the Roland Garros for the last time. In this case, according to journalist James Gray, Murray intends to play both singles and doubles at the Roland Garros. Andy could play the doubles in Paris alongside countryman Daniel Evans. If he were to participate in the Olympics, however, his doubles partner would have to change. The main suspect to pair with him in the Olympic tournament is the expert Joe Salisbury.

Andy Murray's last appearance dates back to last March, when during a match in the ATP Masters 1000 in Miami he suffered a serious injury. The Scotsman, in the final part of the match with Tomas Machac, suffered a bad ankle sprain and subsequent instrumental tests showed a total rupture of the talar peroneal ligament and a lesion of the calcaneofibular ligament.

"I will see an ankle specialist when I get home to determine the next steps; it goes without saying that it is tough and I will be out for a long time. But when the time is right I will be back, even with a hip and no ligament in my ankle," he wrote on social media.
