For top players, it is one of the main events to prepare for the Wimbledon tournament. As many as six top 10 players have chosen the Atp 500 in Halle to familiarize themselves with the grass before finally landing in London for the third Slam of the season.

The German event, scheduled for June 17-23, thus promises plenty of entertainment: late in the morning, the draw was made official with Jannik Sinner leading the seeding as the top seed.

The South Tyrolean was definitely not lucky in his first draw as world number one. The path for the 22-year-old from San Candido will be very complicated and full of pitfalls, right from the first rounds with experienced players on this surface who have already achieved good results.

In the debut immediately a fascinating challenge: Sinner will have to deal with the Dutch Tallon Griekspoor (the previous all in favor of the Italian but quite hard-fought). Next, the Italian will cross the winner of the confrontation between Hungary's Marozsan and Russia's Roman Safiullin, on paper the favorite and veteran of a quarterfinal at Wimbledon in 2023.

One of the biggest flaws that many fans pointed out in the new TopSpin 2K25 was the lack of players available to use at any given time. The roster did not include too many strong names at ATP level, with Carlos Alcaraz and Roger Federer as the main references... until now.

Jannik Sinner is the new signing of the famous video game for its next update: the Italian will also appear with his characteristic Gucci bag, being one of the visible faces of the game. Another incentive for those who already spend hours with the controller in hand.

Jannik Sinner will remain world number one after Wimbledon ends and at least until the Olympics. The semifinal win on Paris clay enabled the South Tyrolean to edge out Carlos Alcaraz, his main (and probably only) rival for the top spot in the Atp rankings, by 900 points.
